Our story
Taehong (Tae) Kim founded STEM-EMET. Tae did research through ConnectSTEM, and the people met along the way led to STEM-EMET.

STEM-EMET is a student-led umbrella nonprofit. We help students turn their own projects and research into independent nonprofits, each run by its own student director.
Each branch runs its own programs under its own student director. STEM-EMET supports all three.
Free online classes for K-12 students on Zoom: AP and everyday math and science, and English for international students. ConnectEMET runs its own classes and teachers, and works with Light and Salt Academy and SpiderSmart.
